Equipment Sales CRM for a Paraguayan Distributor
Designed and built a clickable CRM for an Asunción distributor of compressors, pumps and generators selling across Paraguay and southern Brazil: a pipeline whose stages follow how capital equipment is really sold, opportunity detail with technical sizing and CPQ quote hand-offs, a service contract renewals pipeline and an installed base that flags units due for replacement.
Most of our work is under NDA. Per agreement, we can share the work but not the company details - all names and identifying information shown here have been changed.
Dashboard, opportunity pipeline (board and table), opportunity detail, renewals pipeline and installed base. Every one of the 29 demo opportunities opens its own detail page.
Qualification to Negotiation, each with entry rules such as a completed survey visit, sizing reviewed by the applications engineer and an offer sent. A card dragged forward too early is refused with the missing items listed.
Each deal and contract keeps its own currency (USD, PYG or BRL) and shows the USD equivalent at the monthly reference rates from the Banco Central del Paraguay and the Banco Central do Brasil (PTAX).
Installed compressors, pumps and generators at 23 sites of 18 accounts in Paraguay and Brazil, with 29 opportunities, 16 service contracts, 27 contacts and 12 staff users.
Arasá had a generic off-the-shelf CRM that nobody used in the field. Reps driving to plants in Alto Paraná, Itapúa and the Chaco, often with no signal, kept visit notes in WhatsApp and paper notebooks. The installed base lived in the service team's spreadsheet, service contracts lapsed because nobody saw the end date coming, stages like "Proposal" and "Closing" did not match how a generator deal is won, and managers could not tell who owned which account where Paraguayan and Brazilian territories meet.
Karanday is built around Arasá's own sales motion: site survey, technical proposal, commercial offer and negotiation, with entry rules on every stage. Opportunities carry the sizing data and the CPQ quote versions, renewals run on their own pipeline from 90 days before the end date, and the installed base shows every unit's run hours, service dates and contract, with replacement candidates surfaced.
A 250 kVA generator or a bank of compressors is sold on site data, quoted in more than one currency, serviced for years under contract and replaced by run hours. Arasá does all of that in two countries with different data protection laws.
Capital equipment is won through a site survey, a technical proposal with sizing (air demand and pressure, flow and head, or load in kVA and duty) and then a commercial offer. Generic stages hid where a deal really stood, so the forecast was a guess.
Serial numbers, run hours and last service dates sat in a spreadsheet, including competitors' units. Nobody could see which machines were past their replacement limit or which contracts were about to end.
Paraguayan accounts are identified by RUC and Brazilian ones by CNPJ. Equipment is commonly priced in US dollars, but deals and contracts also run in guaraníes and reais, and the forecast has to report in one currency.
Brazilian contacts fall under the LGPD, with a recorded legal basis and consent for marketing. Paraguay enacted a general data protection law in November 2025 (Law 7593/2025), and credit data is regulated by Law 6534/2020, so the design follows the stricter standard.
Mapped 10 user roles, from field and inside sales reps to applications engineers, the service contracts coordinator and the data protection lead, and 40 screens across the staff web app, an offline field app and two public pages. Defined the data model for accounts, sites, installed units, opportunities, sizing, quote hand-offs, service contracts, renewals, visits and consent, and wrote down the rules the design follows: LGPD, Paraguay's Law 7593/2025 and Law 6534/2020, RUC and CNPJ identifiers, and invoicing left to the ERP through SIFEN and NF-e.
Built 5 key screens on a production dashboard kit: the dashboard with pipeline, commit vs quota, won and lost by month and a My work view per role, the pipeline board with stage entry rules on drag, the opportunity detail with stage rail, sizing, quote versions and buying committee, the renewals pipeline with a contract panel, and the installed base with the equipment unit panel. All actions run on local state.
Integration with the ERP (such as SAP Business One or Odoo) for customers, credit status, orders and invoice status, the CPQ quote builder, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace mail and calendar sync, Entra ID single sign-on, Google Maps, the WhatsApp Business Platform and push notifications. The offline field app, visit planner, forecast, territories, consent and data requests, and a tamper-evident audit log.
Each opportunity shows a checklist of entry rules for its next stage, Advance stage stays disabled until they pass, and Mark won needs an accepted quote and a purchase order number. Days in stage turn amber past the stage's target age and red at twice it.
The Sizing tab holds the technical requirement per product family with who entered it, and the applications engineer marks it reviewed. Every CPQ quote version is listed with its status, value and validity date.
Contracts enter the renewals board 90 days before they end, turn amber at 60 days and red at 30, and show visits delivered against those included. Lapsed or Not renewing needs a reason, and a proposal shows its uplift.
The installed base holds Arasá's and competitors' units with run hours, service dates and contract. Units over the catalogue's age or run-hour limit with no open deal appear as replacement candidates, and the unit panel opens a replacement opportunity in one step.

Designed and built a clickable sales enablement hub for a San Juan medical device manufacturer: one library of approved sales material per product, market and language, a medical, legal and regulatory (MLR) review workspace with signed approvals, and expiry and IFU checks that pull outdated material before reps can use it.

Designed and built a clickable configure-price-quote platform for a Plovdiv maker of modular cold rooms and refrigeration units: a configurator that sizes the cooling and checks safety rules as you edit, a quote workspace with live pricing, margin and VAT treatment, and an approvals queue driven by a fixed discount matrix.
