What stays true on every project
Your spec
You define the tasks, the guidelines and the bar the work has to meet.
Your tools
Work happens only in your own tools and accounts.
Your QA decides
Your QA has the final say, and rejects are fixed.
Your team
A dedicated team that does not work for a competing lab at the same time.
What we need from you
The more of this you share up front, the faster we can match people and start the pilot.
The work
What the tasks are and what a finished item looks like.
- examples
The skills
The languages, domains or expertise the work needs.
- requirements
Guidelines
Your rubric or instructions, even as a draft.
- rubric
Your tools
Where the work will happen and how access is granted.
- access
Acceptance
How your QA decides an item is accepted.
- bar
Timeline
When you want the pilot to start and how long the work runs.
- dates
From request to running team.
- 1
Tell us what you need
Share the work, the skills it needs, your guidelines or rubric, and your timeline. We match people to those requirements.
- 2
Paid pilot, small team
A small team works on your real tasks first, so you can judge the output before you commit to more.
- 3
Scale up
When the pilot meets your bar, we add people to the same work and keep it running for as long as you need.
Scoped to your project.
No rate card. Pricing is agreed per project, usually after a short paid pilot.
Scoped per project
There is no list price. We scope pricing for your project once we understand the work, the skills it needs and your acceptance bar.
Pilot first
Most engagements start with a short paid pilot on your real tasks, so pricing is set with real output in front of both teams.
Hours that overlap with yours.
The team works remotely from India with hours arranged to overlap your working day, and can travel onsite when the work needs it.

Who you work with
People matched to your requirements, from a software engineering company.
- Coding and software engineering experts.
- Model evaluators.
- Domain experts.
- Eval and benchmark builders.
Four checks before work counts.
The same process runs on every OceanLab Labs project, and your QA always has the final say.
- 1
Scored trial task
Every person completes a scored trial task before they join your project, so only people who meet the bar work on your data.
- 2
Second reviewer
Submitted work is checked by a second reviewer before it reaches you.
- 3
Lead calibration
A lead runs calibration rounds so everyone applies your guidelines the same way as the work goes on.
- 4
Your QA decides
Your own QA has the final say on what is accepted. Anything you reject comes back to us and is fixed.
Your data stays yours.
NDA for every person
Everyone who works on your project signs an NDA before they see any of your material.
Your tools, your accounts
Work happens only inside your own tools and accounts. Your data does not leave them.
A dedicated team
The people on your work do not work for a competing lab at the same time.
How do we start?
Tell us the work, the skills it needs and your timeline. We start with a paid pilot on a small team working on your real tasks, then scale once the output meets your bar.
How do you check quality?
Each person passes a scored trial task before joining, a second reviewer checks submitted work, a lead runs calibration rounds, and your own QA has the final say. Anything you reject is fixed.
How do you keep our data and tasks private?
Everyone on your project signs an NDA, the work happens only inside your own tools and accounts, and the team does not work for a competing lab at the same time.
How is the work priced?
Pricing is scoped per project, usually after a short paid pilot on your real tasks. There is no public rate card.
Which time zones can the team work in?
The team works remotely from India with hours that overlap the US (East and West Coast), the UK and Europe, the Middle East, and Australia and Asia, and can travel onsite when the work needs it.
