Wedding Planning Platform for a Jaipur Studio
Designed and built a clickable planner app for a Jaipur wedding studio that runs multi-day Indian weddings across Rajasthan: every wedding and its events in one place, the guest list by family and side with RSVPs per event, and a live day-of run sheet with call times, delays and guest pickups.
Most of our work is under NDA. Per agreement, we can share the work but not the company details - all names and identifying information shown here have been changed.
Dashboard, all weddings, wedding overview, guest list and day-of run sheet. All 14 weddings in the demo, from enquiry to cancelled, open their own overview.
The Sangeet run sheet tracks planned against actual start, shows the slip in a delay banner, shifts the rest of the day by 10 to 30 minutes and flags amplified sound after 22:00, next to 11 call times and 5 guest movements.
Guests are grouped by family with bride's, groom's or common side, an RSVP for each of the 5 events, room, pickup and dietary chips, and a warning when two guests share a phone number.
6 traditions and 6 statuses, 9 studio staff, 8 venues in Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur and Pushkar, and 35 guests in 10 families for the Rathore-Malhotra wedding.
Chandbagh's 9 planners ran about 140 weddings a year from a master Excel file, a rooming list per hotel, a transport sheet, dozens of WhatsApp groups and a printed run sheet that went out of date the moment the baraat started late. Caterer counts came from three different lists, 40 guests added by voice note never reached the rooming list, a decorator was paid twice on two weddings, and telling a family what they had spent took a day.
I Do Desk gives the studio one planner app for the whole job: a dashboard of what needs action across every wedding, a workspace per wedding with its events, approvals, checklist and vendors, a guest list organised the way families think about it, and a run sheet the team works from on the day.
A typical Chandbagh wedding is a mehendi, haldi, sangeet, ceremony and reception over several days, with 200 to 800 guests, palace hotels and havelis across Rajasthan, and two families who each run their own side of the guest list and the budget.
Each family adds guests by phone and voice note, guests are invited to some events and not others, and the caterer, the hotels and the transport team each work from their own copy. A late change on one side rarely reaches the rooming list in time.
On the day, one late choreographer or baraat pushes every later item. Vendors need new call times, shuttles need to move, and a printed run sheet cannot show what has started, what is late or who is fixing the latest problem.
Rooming and pickup lists send guests' names, phones and arrival details to hotels and transport operators. Under India's DPDP Act the studio acts as a data fiduciary, and children's details need a parent's consent and must never be messaged directly.
Each wedding has a dozen vendors with their own contracts and payment schedules, GST on most services, client instalments and costs split between the two families. Advances tracked in a notebook led to double payments.
Mapped 9 roles from studio owner to guest and vendor, 42 screens across the planner web app, a couple and family app, a guest RSVP site and a vendor portal, and the data model for weddings, events, timeline items, families, guests, RSVPs, room blocks, trips, bookings, invoices, approvals and data shares. Wrote down the rules the design follows: the DPDP Act 2023 and its Rules, GST invoicing, TRAI DLT and WhatsApp template rules for messaging, and the Noise Pollution Rules for late-night sound.
Built 5 key planner screens on a production dashboard kit: the dashboard with studio KPIs, this week's events, my work by role, planner load against a 4-led-weddings limit and a needs attention list, the weddings table with status, planner, package and city filters, the wedding overview with an event strip, approvals, RSVP donut, checklist by workstream, vendor status and a note box, the guest list with a guest panel for recording RSVPs, and the run sheet with start and done, shift rest of day and an issues log. All actions run on local state.
Integration with Razorpay or Cashfree for client payments, WhatsApp Business messaging, MSG91 for DLT SMS and OTP, Leegality or Digio e-signature, GSTIN lookup, Google Maps, flight status for arriving guests, Tally or Zoho Books export and S3 storage in Mumbai. Staff auth by role, an audit log for every approval, payment, export and data share, and the remaining screens: rooms, transport, seating, budget, vendors, payments, the couple app in English and Hindi, the guest RSVP pages and the vendor portal.
Guests sit under their family heading, such as "Agarwal family, Kolkata - 6", with relation in the family's own words, side, out-of-town and invitation card status. Children are recorded by first name and age band under their family, and a duplicate phone number is flagged before RSVP links go out.
Each item shows its planned time, the actual start and the variance, a current-time line marks where the day is, and the banner says how far behind the day is running. Shifting the rest of the day moves every item not yet started, and late call times are counted at the top.
Recording an RSVP from a phone call logs the planner as the person who was told, each guest shows what was shared with which hotel or transport vendor and when, and the wedding activity feed keeps notes, payments, approvals and day-of updates in one timeline.
The dashboard switches between lead planner, hospitality and accounts views, and the needs attention list surfaces room blocks close to release, run sheets not locked, vendors with no call time, weddings over budget by more than 5% and guest data requests older than 7 days.

Designed and built a clickable ticketing platform for a Santo Domingo ticket company selling concerts and festivals across the Caribbean: all-in prices from the first view, a live waiting room and bot controls for big onsales, event inventory with holds and a readiness checklist, and an orders view with payment, 3-D Secure and fiscal receipt details.

Designed and built a clickable organiser console for a Manama congress organiser running a four-day medical congress of about 15,000 attendees: a live dashboard fed by door scans, a programme grid that catches clashes before publishing, one compliance queue for everything industry-funded, and CME/CPD credits calculated from verified attendance.
